Introduction to Entrepreneurship- Week One
This is a very interesting experience of creating a blog for the first time and having someone else read it besides myself. So, there may be a learning curve and learning how to blog efferently.
At the end of Week One of Introduction to Entrepreneurship BUS110, I am taking some time to reflect on what I learned this week.
I think I have done my life plan backwards and started a Family History Research Business while still in school and before I even got my Entrepreneurship Certificate. But I am also grateful that I did state it early because I am able to use the skills that I have learned and will learn in the rest of my classes in a very real way.
I think the principle I have learned this week that resonates with me the most is to find a talent you love and Master it. Then choose another talent and repeat. Life is all about learning and growing.
I think this class will help me to make my business better and help me thrive in the Family History field.
I am looking forward to developing more skills and talents so I can help more people in the long run.
I loved President Gordon B. Hinkley’s talk about becoming better tomorrow than we were today. We have the power to change the world for the better one step, one person, one soul at a time. It is not for not.
It reminded me of the quote, “No act of Kindness no matter how small is ever wasted.” Our efforts to do good are not wasted, God knows and sees and counts everyone.
I look forward with hope to the future as I strive to help others find and get to know their own ancestors and where they come from.
Ta Ta For Now,
Esther Thompson
