Which assignments, sections, concepts, or principles did you like best?

The following are the concepts I liked best from this class and will probably use them in making my Family History Research Business, Coming Full Circle better:

The Decision Matrix – I loved this concept. I love that I can compare three or more items and rank them before I decide on a course of action.  This can be used in any aspect of my life where I have serval options and then make a decision after comparing them.

E-Myth- I actually liked reading this book. The concepts of the book will help me to not to become overwhelmed in my business.

Financial Statements – I had a hard time figuring this out. However, once I did, I think that the projective income statement will help me in my own business.

Advertising- This was actually kind of fun using AI to make advertisements. I am leery of AI but I am also excited to figure out how to use it to help my business.

Ethics- I think that business ethics is the most important part of business because if you do not have a behavioral code of conduct in your business you can end up in bad situations later with no clear way of getting out of it. This should probably be the first thing that is taught in this class.

 

Which one(s) should be removed from the course?

The following are things that should be removed from the class:

Conundrum Questions- Honestly, I just ignored these questions. There was already so much work for this class that these questions were just too much to deal with.

Professional Certification – I was really excited to learn about these and the fact that they are mostly free. However, actually doing one for the class was overwhelming on top of all the work required. It was too much. I would keep them in the class as a reference marital and not require one to be completed.

Case Studies – I think one or two of these would surface, any more than that was overwhelming and a lot of work.

Group work – This was so much work and so hard to schedule over zoom. Having a group project due every week was so overwhelming. Maybe one or two group projects for the class but not every week.
